General Instructions
In order to purchase products on this website, you first need to open an account (register) and then purchase Download Credit using a credit/debit card.
Once your account is credited, you will see your balance in the shopping cart in the top left corner.
You can even purchase credit for a friend or family member and it will be automatically sent to them by email.
Each time you buy a download purchase using your credit, the cost will be debited from your account balance. (Just like a prepaid cellphone account...)

What music track formats can I buy?
We provide music downloads in MP3 format.
What ringtone formats can I buy?
We provide ringtone downloads in the following formats: monophonic (OTT), polyphonic (MIDI) and trutones (MP3).
It is your responsibility to check that the ringtone format you want will work on your phone before downloading.
What can I do with music downloaded from this shop?
All of our music is downloaded in a license-free format which enables you to play it on your computer an unlimited number of times.
You are also entitled to burn downloaded tracks to CD or transfer them to a portable player (an 'MP3 player'). Burns and transfers should be for personal non-commercial use only. That means you’re not supposed to sell them for commercial gain.
Windows Media Player is recommended to play or burn tracks from this site.
In general, we recommend that you burn your tracks to Audio-CD as a backup should you encounter any PC problems. We will not be able to send you the music again in such a case once you have downloaded it the first time.
What portable devices do you support?
Our music downloads are in an open source MP3 format and will play on any portable devices that play MP3s.
But I thought that downloading music is piracy?
All the music and ringtones found at zambeat.com are fully legal and licensed from the artists and producers of the music. So each time, you buy a download, a share of your money (called a royalty) goes to the people behind the music.
GETTING STARTED
How do I register?
Start downloading tracks in 5 easy steps:
- Search for the music you want
- Sample it for free using the 60-second clips
- Select to BUY the music you want
- Click on the Buy Vouchers link in the top left corner and follow the steps to select a credit voucher and open an account
- Your account will be in credit and this will display in the shopping cart at the top left corner.
- you can now download your favourite music
When you return to the site, log in with your username and password, and you'll have access to any unspent credit. You can top up your account at any time with another credit voucher.
Will I have to go through registration process when I come back to the site?
You will not have to go through the registration process when you return to the site to use more of your unspent credit. Simply log in by entering your email address and password in the box provided.
Why do I need a username and password?
Your username is a unique name on our system which will be used with your password to verify you when you return to the shop. We also need your e-mail address so that we can send you your purchase confirmation details, and also so we can contact you for support reasons. Choosing ‘Save Logon Information’ enables us to automatically log you in to the music service when you visit. We would recommend that you do not use this feature if you share a computer with other people and you don’t want to give them access to your music service.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Our payment service provider, 2Checkout.com accepts most international payment cards. These are displayed in the 2CO logo on the right hand side of our website. You can also pay in a range of internationally accepted currencies.
Is it safe to use my credit card?
We use a third party payment services provider called 2Checkout.com, which are based in the USA and are one of the leading companies in the field. Thus 2Checkout.com handles your credit card and payment details and your credit card details are not known to us at any time. To ensure the highest level of security, your payment details are transmitted using the latest industry standard encryption methods put in place by 2checkout.com.
There is another way to check that the pages are secure: simply right click on properties within the payment area of the payment page and it will display the url starting with ‘https’. ‘https’ indicates that the page is secure. Please note that because of the way this page is displayed the “security padlock” may not visible at the bottom of the page.

Can I buy downloads without a credit card?
You definitely need a credit or debit card to buy vouchers on our site through the payment services provider. However, after that you will not to use the card again to use those vouchers.
Do I have to subscribe?
The shopping cart in the top left corner shows the current credit vouchers that you have purchased and have remaining. You can choose to purchase a credit voucher which credits your account with a one-off amount, and you have no further commitment. You can top up your account at any time by purchasing a new credit voucher as and when you need to.

How much do the vouchers cost?
At present, zambeat.com provides credit vouchers in the following denominations: US$10, US$20 and US$25.
How long will my credit vouchers be valid for?
Each credit voucher is valid for 3 months from the time you purchase it.
Can I get a refund if I decide to stop using the zambeat.com download service?
No. Our credit vouchers are non-refundable.
Can I transfer my remaining credit vouchers to someone else?
No. Our credit vouchers are non-transferable and will only work on the account on which they are activated.
Am I able to buy a credit voucher for someone else?
You are able to buy a credit voucher for someone else to use. Simply click on the option and enter their details. After your purchase of the credit voucher is completed using the credit card at the payment service provider’s website, your beneficiary will be sent an email with the credit voucher details.

What is Sample and Buy?
60-Second Sample
Listen to a 60 second sample for free. This is not downloaded to your computer. Most of our music in our catalogue can be freely sampled for 60 seconds so that you can hear the track before you purchase it.

USING THE MUSIC
Where are my tracks saved to?
When you click on the DOWNLOAD PRODUCTS link, your computer will ask you where you want to save the zipped file. We recommend that you save the zipped files to your “My Music” folder. You can then extract them and they will be listed in your Windows Media Player library.
How do I play my downloaded music tracks?
Windows Media Player is required to play burn or transfer tracks from this site. Once you have downloaded a track, it will be listed in your Windows Media Player library. Select the track and click the Play button in Windows Media Player.
You will also be able to play the tracks in many other players that play MP3 format.
How do I burn my downloaded tracks to a CD?
Simply follow the instructions on your preferred media player as you would do with any digital music files.
How do I transfer tracks to a portable device?
This is done in the normal manner as you would do to transfer any other digital music files portable device.
- Connect your portable device to your PC
- Click the "Sync" or “Copy to CD or Device” tab within Windows Media Player.
- Click "Edit Playlist" and add the tracks that you want to transfer to the playlist.
- Click “Start Sync” or “Copy”.

Where are my ringtones saved to?
When you click on the DOWNLOAD PRODUCTS link, your computer will ask you where you want to save the zipped file. We recommend that you create a folder called “My ringtones” and then save the zipped files there. You can then extract them and they will be listed in your Windows Media Player library.
How do I transfer ringtones to my mobile phone handset?
This is done in the normal manner as you would do to transfer any other digital files to your handset portable device.
Connect your mobile handset to your PC using the appropriate data cable (usually comes supplied with it or available from phone manufacturer).
Follow the instructions or guides as necessary.
What if the ringtone I downloaded does not play on my handset?
We provide ringtone downloads in the following formats: monophonic (OTT), polyphonic (MIDI) and truetones (MP3). As we do not offer refunds or exchanges, it is your responsibility to check that the ringtone format you want will work on your phone before downloading. You can do this through the manual supplied with your handset or through the manufacturer’s website.
